Postcrossing is easy: per each postcard you send, you receive a postcard from an unknown postcrosser from whichever country in the world. There are over 800,000 postcrossers from 200 countries, who have sent around 70 million postcards altogether.
The postage stamp was designed by artist Triin Heinmann and printed in the printing house Vaba Maa. The edition size of the stamps is 25,000 and the nominal price of a stamp is 1.90 cents, which means that it can be used for sending postcards internationally. The postage stamp and the first-day cover will be sold in the e-shop of Omniva and in post offices all over Estonia. The first day stamp will be used at the Finest post office at 22 Pärnu mnt, Tallinn.
Making a user account on the page postcrossing.com is free. After making the account, an address must be requested from the system. Then, the applicant will receive the address of a random user and a postcard code. Now, all you have to do is write the postcard and post it. When your postcard arrives, the receiver must register it using the postcard code. Then, your address will be given to the next randomly selected user, who will send you a postcard in return. Once you receive it, it is your turn to register the postcard using the code. The process is easy!
