Growth across the postal, parcel and financial service divisions drove a 9% increase in total revenue for China Post in 2019.

Despite reporting a declining demand for universal services, postal division revenue increased steadily in 2019, driven by e-commerce delivery and service diversification. Meanwhile, revenue for the express and logistics subsidiary increased 14% year on year, accounting for just under 10% of group revenue. To meet growing cross-border demand, the post has invested in increased capacity for air mail centres and new transportation routes.
