Revenue for Correos Express increased 20% year on year, in part because of the acquisition of a new subsidiary in Portugal. Meanwhile, despite total postal volumes falling more than 10% – driven by a 12% decline from large-volume senders – revenue for the Postal, Parcels and Telegraph division increased 10% in the year, supported by election mailings, price increases and parcels performance.
