Le Groupe La Poste recorded steady revenue growth for the eighth consecutive year in 2018, with total group revenue increasing 2.4% to €24.7bn.

Growth in domestic and European parcel volumes helped the operator offset a slight fall in mail and financial service revenue in the year. B2C deliveries accounted for more than half of parcels and express volumes in 2018, with 10% of these volumes in France delivered to a pick-up point. Organic growth for the operator will be driven by higher parcel volumes, with GeoPost forecasting that e-commerce volumes will double by 2025.
