Excluding the positive impact of the merger with CNP Assurances in 2020, the post’s revenue increased 11.0%, primarily driven by organic growth. A partial recovery for some mail sectors, as well as continued strong growth in B2C volumes, particularly in the first half of the year, were primary drivers for growth. An agreement with the French government for universal postal service compensation also supported improved performance.
Le Groupe La Poste made 12 controlling acquisitions through its subsidiaries in 2021, focused on digital service transformation, as well as further geographic expansion for parcels and express services.
