Partnerships, acquisitions and domestic volume growth all drove a 43% increase in Österreichische Post’s parcels revenue in 2020.

Österreichische Post’s total net sales increased 8%, driven by higher parcel volumes and the inclusion of results from Aras Kargo from Q3 onwards. Excluding results from the new subsidiary, the post’s net sales grew 3%. Lower retail and mail revenue weighed on group performance, with total mail volumes falling almost 10%. In Q2 2020, the post launched its own banking operations, under the brand bank99, which had attracted 60,000 customers by the year end.
