E-commerce, parcels and logistics accounted for more than 60% of group revenue in 2021, despite the post divesting its logistics operations in Russia during the year. Although the drop in mail volume slowed, partly as a result of low base volumes in the prior year, continued e-substitution drove a 6% drop in mail revenue for 2021.
Posti renewed its strategy in 2021, emphasising its focus on growth in logistics and e-commerce delivery by improving the customer experience. Key measures taken in 2021 included rollout of shorter delivery windows for home delivery, as well as further expansion of the PUDO network.
