Steady growth for the telecoms division, as well as continued increases in volumes for parcels and logistics services, drove a 4% increase in revenue for POST Luxembourg in 2021.

While parcel volumes grew at the slowest rate for more than five years, total volumes still increased more than 10% in 2021. Meanwhile, inbound logistics volumes from Asia increased 13% year on year, with revenue for the logistics segment accounting for a fifth of total postal revenue.

The post continued to invest in expanding its logistics and telecoms networks in 2021, with capex increasing 9% from the prior year. Capex for 2021 equated to 16% of the post’s total revenue. During 2022, it will continue to roll out its 5G data network, as well as opening its new headquarters. For more details download the latest IPC Carrier Intelligence Report for POST Luxembourg.
