In 2001, more than one million test letters of representative types and sizes were sent within North America, and between North America and Europe.In 2001, the UNEX end-to-end performance measurement system results show that 92.0 per cent of first class,intra-European mail was delivered to the final addressee within three days of posting (J+3). This represents an improvement of 8.5 percentage points compared with 1997, and a slight decrease of 0.5 point compared with last year. The 2001 average delivery time was 2.3 days.
