Panalpina’s share price increased by 13.06%, from CHF 112.50 on the last day of trading for the previous year to CHF 127.20 on the last day of trading in 2016. The Swiss Performance Index (SPI), which includes more than 200 companies, decreased by 1.3% in the same period, so Panalpina outperformed the index as a whole. The market capitalization at the end of the year amounted to CHF 3,021 million.
