General description:

  • RFID tracking solution can provide additional value to the postal operations by using the existing passive RFID network and postal RFID infrastructure for more than just basic item tracking or receptacle tracking. IPC organises workshops for posts to discuss opportunities and possibilities of tailored solutions using the base tracking services.

Objective of the session:

  • Present and explain the possibilities of RFID solutions to commercial and/or operational postal experts
  • Understand how to use RFID tracking solutions to the benefit of the postal organisation
  • Explain existing best practices amongst the IPC Tracking community
  • Understand possibilities of customisation
