Knowledge Centre

IPC’s programmes help postal operators defend existing businesses and expand into growth areas. IPC offers its members insight into market and regulatory developments and provides a framework for networking and knowledge sharing. Our sustainability programme aims to reduce the postal sector’s contribution to greenhouse gas emissions.

In markets like the postal sector, regulation has a significant impact on competition and on the market behaviour of postal service providers.

For IPC members it has become increasingly important to follow regulatory developments and to respond to the challenges they face. In this regard, IPC provides insight and analysis on the evolution of postal regulation, and facilitates discussion platforms for best practice sharing.

Intelligence services offered by IPC provide a full overview on legal and regulatory implications in IPC member countries. Together with its members, IPC initiates and conducts research on regulatory, legal and political issues, including benchmarking studies and analysis of relevant regulatory questions.

Facts and analysis of regulatory models are covered in members-only publications and services: IPC Regulatory Flash, the IPC Strategic Perspectives on Regulation, the IPC Regulatory Database and Portal and in other studies produced for members.
